===Our Story===

'''IDEACy''' is an Incubator-Accelerator for Startups and an entrepreneurship hub, founded in 2015. IDEA aspires to boost the entrepreneurial spirit and put Cyprus higher on the innovation map, by changing mindsets and helping to create investible, scalable startups.

We host startup companies offering them the highest quality of training, so as to turn their innovative ideas into viable businesses with a global outlook.

In addition, we promote entrepreneurial activities and support the creation of viable businesses from idea-stage, contributing in this way to youth employment at a national level.

Within all the support we offer, we emphasize that the major success factor for entrepreneurs is themselves: their passion, their determination, their sense of urgency, their hard work, their commitment, their willingness to give and take their aspirations and perseverance.

We give great emphasis on the important role of each startup, which is to become an example for others and gradually give back to the ecosystem and to the new startups.

===Our Mission===

'''IDEACy''' aspires to boost the entrepreneurial spirit and put Cyprus higher on the map of the international innovation ecosystem. Through promoting entrepreneurial activities and supporting the establishment and growth of startup companies, it contributes to job creation for youth and facilitates their transformation into innovative, international and sustainable businesses.

===The Startup Programm===
With its accelerator and incubator programme, IDEA hosts startups for a period of 9 months, offering them the highest quality of training, workshops, and mentorship so as to turn their innovative ideas into viable businesses.

The 9-month program is deployed in two phases:

STAGE A:
Accelerator tied to specific deliverables where the training, classes, and workshops take place and the teams are evaluated to ensure that they qualify to progress to stage B. Hard work and devotion is required by all teams on a weekly basis to maintain a passing rate.

STAGE B
Incubator, where they will enjoy even more benefits while finalizing the first version of their product or service (MPV).

IDEA hosts startups from the idea stage to the stage that they become viable businesses for 9-12 months.

During their hosting, we offer them strong support, such as legal, accounting, HR, marketing and technology services, through the network of our significant partners we also provide to them training, mentoring, seed capital, networking and access to investors when they are ready.

We estimate the total package of cash & services IDEA offers to each startup, to be well over €58,000, depending on their commitment and utilization of services. Though IDEA itself is a non-profit organisation, we apply strict criteria & milestones, so that only hard-working startups will reach graduation from our program.
