The Kormakitis Centre for Cooperation (KCC), officially opened in 2023, is a multipurpose facility located in the village of Kormakitis in the north-west part of Cyprus. It was inspired in 2018 by Yiannakis Moussas, the Representative of the Maronite Community of Cyprus, and established under the auspices and support of the European Union, with participation from the Maronite, Greek, and Turkish Cypriot communities. The center aims to serve peace, reconciliation, and coexistence among local communities in Cyprus and from abroad. KCC offers a range of programs and learning opportunities, including language and tradition courses, nature preservation, recycling, and the agricultural development of organic products. The center also hosts events promoting multiculturalism and provides facilities for education, youth activities, camps, conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and cultural events.
