Center for Sustainable Peace and Democratic Development (SeeD) is a leading non-governmental organization founded in 2010 by a group of peacebuilding and development experts. Based in Nicosia, Cyprus, SeeD focuses on promoting sustainable peace, democratic development, and effective conflict resolution in conflict-affected regions worldwide, with a special emphasis on Cyprus.
The organization’s work is rooted in the belief that peace and democracy are not merely the absence of conflict but require active efforts to build understanding, cooperation, and long-lasting structures for social cohesion. Through its innovative programs, SeeD uses evidence-based approaches, including conflict analysis, social cohesion initiatives, and dialogue facilitation, to address the underlying causes of conflict and create conditions for sustainable peace.
